Looking back at your preliminary task (the college magazine task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?
Theres a huge difference from the two magazines as they both serve the purpose well, but i think that my music magazine is better as i have more research looking into my audience, the genre specified by the magazine, i had thought about colours and fonts more everything had thought and meaning behind it. So i have learnt that research is important.
Another thing i have learnt is Marketing, because the influences on marketing; how its sold, how it attracts a reader, altered my final piece the more i found out the more i changed/ adapted my magazine to its environment (the magazine shelf or rack in a shop) hence the bright colours.
The fact i understood Photoshop more by the time i reached my main task helped alot which my music magazine compared to the prelimary task.
Having someone to go over your work after your produced a piece to give feedback and help correct any mistakes i learnt was the most benefitial thing and eventually my magazine turned out well so feeback was pretty possitive in the end.
